PUBLIC ADVOCACY TRAINING FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS

2. December 2019.

The Forca Civic Action Forum, as a local Resource Center, organizes a public advocacy training.

The training will be held in Ivanjica from December 6 to 8, 2019, while those interested in it can apply to participate in it on https://gradjanske.civicatalyst.org/javno_zastupanje_FoRca .

The aim of the training is to provide knowledge and manuals to civil society organizations in overcoming the most common problems they face in their daily work, as well as to enable them to build stronger and better relations with local self-governments and other relevant community entities.

The public advocacy training will be held through interactive sessions, during which the CSO representatives attending the sessions will receive key information and practical advice on various topics relevant to their work, such as public advocacy, transparent funding of associations’ programs and projects and the involvement of CSOs in decision-making processes.

Public advocacy involves a series of activities aimed at influencing the decisions reached by governmental bodies, international institutions or other powerful organizations. Advocacy aims to influence outcomes, including policy and resource allocation decisions.
