PROMOTION OF THE „BEST BOOK OF THE YOUNG“ PROJECT

The “Center for Positive Changes” from Presevo, in cooperation with the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, implements the “Best Book of the Young” project.

In order to encourage the young to get involved in creative writing, the “Center for Positive Changes” announced an open competition for primary (from the fifth to the eight grade) and secondary school students from Presevo. The topics were: “Presevo”, “My Neighbor”, “Drugs and its Consequences”, “Religion and its Peace Message” and “Sports and My Future”.

The winner of the competition is going to receive a 50,000 RSD reward, while a hundred copies of his/her book shall be printed and distributed to libraries in the municipality of Presevo. The second - best work will be rewarded with 25,000 RSD.

With the aim of promoting the project and encouraging the young to be creative, representatives of the “Center for Positive Changes” visited students of the “Skenderbeg” secondary school.
