PROJECT OF FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS FOR BETTER COOPERATION WITH THE PARLIAMENT

26. December 2013.

Belgrade – The Association of Business Women of Serbia launched the project "The Contribution of Female Entrepreneurs to the Development of Economic Policy in the New Political Context" to strengthen the cooperation between the associations of local female entrepreneurs and the Parliament and thus influence the formulation of gender-sensitive policies.

The priorities of female entrepreneurs in Serbia, for which it is necessary to obtain the support of the Parliament, will be represented through the work of committees in the Parliament, it was said in a statement.  The project activities will be implemented in seven cities, including Bujanovac.

The Parliament provided institutional support for this project, which is funded by the Delegation of the European Union and the Government’s Office for Cooperation with Civil Society. The project includes the holding of five workshops on "gender budgeting", which will take place in Belgrade, Backi Petrovac, Subotica, Zajecar and Bujanovac, as well as round tables in all seven cities, where the Platform will be presented.
