President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, along with the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities, Knut Vollebaek, Mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Bujanovac, Nenad Vunjak, will visit the location in Bujanovac on which the building of the Faculty of Economics should be constructed. Subotica’s Faculty of Economics’ Department should be relocated from its current premises, which are at the community center in Bujanovac, to the new building.

“As promised, we shall complete the project of constructing the building of the Faculty of Economics in Bujanovac, "Mr. Stankovic said. He pointed out that the project was extremely important, since it was one of the ways of resolving the issue of education of members of the Albanian community, which is one of the Coordination Body’s priorities.

“The integration of this community into the country’s social life is of great importance to South Serbia, as well as to all of us that are trying to improve, in such difficult economic conditions, the life of the people from these three municipalities ", said Mr. Stankovic.

Mr. Stankovic explained that the municipality’s obligation was to determine the location of the building, which it had done.

“The new building will be built opposite from the Health Center. According to our estimates, the construction should begin this spring. When it comes to the exterior and functionality of the building, it shall fully meet the requirements from the Regulations on Accreditation”, Mr. Stankovic said.
