Representatives of the Coordination Body, along with Dragan Vukmirovic, Director of the Republican Statistics Office, visited the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac, where the training of municipal instructors for the forthcoming taking of the national census had beguan. They familiarized themselves with the measures that the municipalities had taken in that respect, as well as with the steps taken regarding the training of municipal instructors and census-takers.

The Coordination Body has taken all the measures and had all the relevant documents on the census translated. Also, the Coordination Body is constantly coordinating its activities with the Statistiscs Office“, said Danijela Nenadic, Director of the Coordination Body.

Dragan Vukmirovic, Director of the Republican Statistiscs Office, pointed out that the census was equally important for all the citizens of the country. „The census, among other things, is the basis for taking all the relevant measures in the field of social and economic policies of the Republic of Serbia. Preparations for the census are going smoothly in all the municipalities, as well as in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja“, Mr. Vukmirovic said.
