PRESENTATIONS FOR STARING SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEDVEDJA

Medvedja – A presentation of HELP’s project of support to self-employment and entrepreneurship called "Support for Socio-Economic Stability in the Western Balkans" will be held, today, at the hall of the municipal building in Medvedja. 

The said presentation is only the first in a series of them, while the same presentations will be held in Sijarinska Spa, Tulare and Lece next week. They are open to the public and all those interested in them may attend.

As part of the project implemented in Medvedja, support for at least 15 micro-businesses is planned, while the implementation of project activities is funded by HELP, through donor funds, including the participation of the municipality of Medvedja, which co-finances the support for small grants in the amount of 14,400.00 euros.

The value of the project component of support to income-generating activities in Medvedja is 36 thousand euros.

The project "Support to Socio-Economic Stability in the Western Balkans", a total value of which is 2,975,000.00 euros, is, with donor support from the German government, implemented by HELP from April 2017 through December 2018.

The value of the activities undertaken in Serbia, in six towns and municipalities and at three institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions, is 1,078,904.29 euros. The component of economic empowerment through providing support to income-generating activities in Serbia is implemented in Medvedja, Leskovac, Nis, Svrljig, Pirot and Mionica.
