PLAY “THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR VIOLENCE” ONCE AGAIN PERFORMED IN BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac – As part of the project “Against Violence by Means of Theater”, the play “There is No Justification for Violence”, the author and director of which is Zijad Sokolovic, was recently performed for the fourth time at the “Saint Sava” professional school in Bujanovac.

The play was watched by 80 students and teachers of the aforementioned school, who, after the end of the play, actively participated in the discussion on violence, which was led by Dragana Zaov, a psychologist.
The play is intended for the education of children of primary and secondary school age and it contributes to educating children about important social issues through art. The cases of domestic, mythological, physical, economic, sexual and health-related violence are presented as the examples of experiences of violence from the perspective of young people and the recommended reactions to them.

What is violence and how to recognize it? What are the myths about violence? How to say No to Violence? This interactive play reveals different situations of violence in everyday life and effectively educates children about one of the biggest problems nowadays.
