PCINJ DISTRICT: 125 EMPLOYEES IN 62 MEDIA OUTLETS

Presevo, Bujanovac, Vranje – According to the Vranje Info portal, there are as many as 62 media outlets that are registered and currently operating in the seven municipalities of the Pcinj district.    

Vranje leads with 23 media outlets, followed by Bujanovac, which has as many as 17 media outlets.

 All other municipalities have a far smaller number of media outlets, so that, for instance, Presevo has nine of them and Bosilegrad five of them.

At the bottom of the list are Vladicin Han with four media outlets, Surdulica with two and Trgoviste with one news outlet.

Out of 62 media outlets, 28 (or 45 percent) are portals. Most of them are in Vranje, where there are 10 of them, as well as in Bujanovac, where there are eight of them.  

There are 14 radio stations, 12 television stations, four print media, two production units and two bureaus in the region.  

It should also be said that there are as many as 25 correspondents from the Pcinj district. 13 of them work for media outlets in Belgrade, six of them for Pristina, three for Leskovac, two for Nis and one for Sofia.  

So, 11 correspondents report from Vranje, seven from Bujanovac, three from Presevo ​ and two from Vladicin Han and Bosilegrad each. 

The latest figures show that 92 employees and 33 part-time associates work in 62 media outlets.
