ORAOVAC LAKE GETS A NEW ROAD

The local self- government of the municipality of Presevo began paving the road located next to the lake in the village of Oraovica.

The implementation of the project is funded by the municipality of Presevo and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja. The project of asphalting the 1,600 meters long road is scheduled by the investment plan for 2014, while the funds earmarked for the aforementioned project amount to 29 million dinars. The project should be completed next year.

“This project won’t be useful only to the villagers of Oraovica, but also to the residents of the villages in the Karadak area, such as the villages of Gosponica, Bukovac and Gornja Susaja. It will be beneficial to all the citizens of Presevo who visit Oraovac Lake, which in recent years takes on a modern look,” said Ragmi Mustafa, the Mayor of Presevo.
