ONLINE WORKSHOPS FOR JOURNALISTS AND NGOS ON THE PROCESS OF SERBIA'S ACCESSION TO THE EU

The Association of Economists of Nis invites all interested parties to apply for being trained about the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union and the role of civil society organizations in the accession negotiations.

The invitation is extended to representatives of civil society organizations dealing with economic policy and consumer protection, to those expressing interest in participating in the process of negotiations on Serbia's accession to the European Union, professional and youth associations, as well as to interested journalists from local and national media and representatives of relevant city and regional state institutions in the field of economy.

The training is focused on the so-called economic negotiation chapters (Chapter 1 - Free Movement of Goods; Chapter 8 - Competition Policy; Chapter 20 - Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy; Chapter 28 - Consumer Protection).

The workshops are organized in cooperation with the Nis EU Info Corner, and will be held online through the "Zoom" platform.

- The first training workshop entitled "Introduction to the process of accession to the European Union" will be held on June 26, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

- The second training workshop entitled "The process of Serbia's accession to the European Union" will be held on June 27 from 12 o’clock noon to 1.30 p.m.

Participation in the training is free of charge.

The project "Get Prepared for the Participation" is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia and implemented by the Center for European Policies - CEP, as the lead partner in the project, with partner organizations: the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) and the Center for Contemporary Policy (CSP).
