OMBUDSMAN PASALIC: WE SOLVE PROBLEMS THROUGH DIRECT COMMUNICATION

Bujanovac – Ombudsman Zoran Pasalic visited Bujanovac, where he talked with Mayor Saip Kamberi about the problems existing in that multinational community and about solving them.

Ombudsman Pasalic expressed the readiness of his Office to resolve the identified problems, stating that the visit to the municipality of Bujanovac was his first visit to South Serbia following his appointment nearly three months ago.

"I am of the view that problems are best resolved through direct communication. We discussed all the issues that we would be resolving,” Ombudsman Pasalic said.

Following the end of the meeting, Mayor Kamberi said for the media that he had received from his interlocutor the assurances of support for solving all the problems.

He, above all the problems, mentioned the issue with textbooks in the Albanian language.

"We expect to have greater and more serious cooperation with the Ombudsman’s Office. I think that Ombudsman Pasalic understood all our problems, "Mayor Kamberi said.

Before meeting with Mayor Kamberi, Ombudsman Pasalic had visited the Ombudsman's Office in Bujanovac, where, as he pointed out, he had talked with a citizen.
