NOVI SAD STUDENTS VISIT THEIR PEERS IN PRESEVO AND BUJANOVAC

Presevo, Bujanovac –   Eight students of the Novi Sad-based “Petefi Sandor” elementary school and the Djurdjevo-based "Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj" elementary school each, along with their teachers, returned the visit to their peers from Presevo and Bujanovac. They socialized with the students of the "Ibrahim Keljmendi" and "Seljami Halaci" elementary schools from Presevo, as well as with those of the "Naim Fraseri" and "Muharem Kadriu" schools from Bujanovac, in the period from October 23 to 25, 2016.

The hosts organized a rich cultural program for their peers, as well as a creative workshop, which was part of the visit. Also, students from Novi Sad visited the Subotica Faculty of Economics’ Department in Bujanovac.  

At the end of this May, the students of the above- mentioned schools in Presevo and Bujanovac visited Novi Sad, where they had an opportunity to visit the “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj” and “Petefi Sandor” schools, the famous sites of Novi Sad and to get to know the city.

The visit was organized as part of the project called "Implementation of the Recommendations for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning Serbian as a Second Language at Elementary Schools in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja”. The project sponsors are the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Coordination Body, while and the project activities are carried out with the financial support of the British Embassy in Belgrade.
