NORMALIZATION OF RAILWAY TRAFFIC ON SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF CORRIDOR 10

Bujanovac – The most recent 36-hour closure of railway tracks due to works on the reconstruction of the southern sections of Corridor 10 Bukarevac-Bujanovac and Vranje Spa-Ristovac, which is carried out in Serbia by the RZD International company, is completed, so that the traffic on these sections will , in July and August, be conducted without interruptions because of the beginning of "peak" season for transportation of passengers in the summer.

During two months of works on the Vranjska Spa-Ristovac section, which is 18 kilometers long, nine kilometers of the railway line were reconstructed. When it comes to the Bujanovac – Bukarevac section of the railway line, which is 13 km long, seven kilometers were reconstructed.

The "RZD International" Company will resume its works and closures of the railway tracks as of September 2016, when peak season for passenger traffic passes.
