Bujanovac – Students of the Bujanovac-based school for elementary musical education, along with their teachers, gave a traditional New Year's concert at the "Vuk Karadzic" community center in Bujanovac.

The unforgettable event began with the school chorus, which was under the direction of Vera Stankovic, a teacher. The choir members, who were students of the first, second and third grade, performed the songs "Marina, Marina" and "A Happy New Year".

That was followed by the performance of a piano duo, various soloists and the choir once again, which sang the song “Utter Silence, Please". The program included a poem dedicated to the coming 2017, too.

"We organize a concert, which is given by the music school’s soloists and choir, every year. That is how we develop a love for music, friendship and teamwork in children, "said Vera Stankovic, a teacher of solfeggio, who did not hide her satisfaction with the successful performance of students of the Bujanovac-based school for elementary musical education, which is, this school year, attended by 102 students.

The students and teachers of the school will give the next traditional concert on the occasion of the eighth of March, which is the International Women's Day.
