NEW APPLICATION "CHOSEN DOCTOR" MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR CITIZENS TO QUICKLY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE A DOCTOR

Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja -Patients can now schedule appointments with their selected general practitioners, gynecologists and dentists through a new mobile phone application, which was recently presented by the Ministry of Health.

The new application "Chosen Doctor" enables citizens to have their medical appointments scheduled quickly and easily, as well as to get an insight into the status of their health insurance. This is a continuation of the Ministry of Health’s work on computerization and digitalization of the healthcare system in Serbia, which is in accordance with the Government’s priorities and digital agenda.

Citizens can download the “Chosen Doctor” mobile phone application for free on the Google Play Store, while in order to activate the application, they need to enter their personal identification number from their health insurance card, as well as their mobile phone number, to which a PIN (personal identification number) necessary for activating the application will be sent.

In addition to making appointments with their doctors, scheduled for the coming period is the opportunity for the citizens to be informed about the time of their appointment, with the possibility of cancelling it.
