MUNICIPALITY OF MEDVEDJA SUPPORTS BEGINNERS IN BUSINESS

Medvedja – The Centre for the Development of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts, with the support of the Local Economic Development Office of the municipality of Medvedja, held a training course for beginners in business and thus facilitated the implementation of business ideas of potential entrepreneurs and provided assistance to the citizens regarding the incentives for self-employment.

By providing non-financial and financial assistance, the project will support vulnerable target groups through training on starting and running businesses, training for business start-ups and preparing business plans, giving grants for funding the best business ideas and through mentoring for businesses at an early stage of development.

Eligible to use the grants are unemployed individuals that have good business ideas for self-employment.

The meeting on start-ups, which was held by the Center for the Development of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts, was attended by the Mayor of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic, and his associates, pointed out that the municipality of Medvedja was making great efforts to contribute to the greater involvement of young people and others in starting businesses.

The applications for the first stage of the Project, along with the necessary documentation, must be submitted by mail or in person to the Centre for the Development of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts in Leskovac by June 20, 2016 at the latest.
