MUNICIPALITY OF BUJANOVAC: EMERGENCY MEASURES MAY BE IN FORCE ONLY IN TWO DAYS

10. July 2020.

Bujanovac - Extraordinary measures to prevent the spread of corona virus in the municipality of Bujanovac, which were adopted at a session of the Emergency Situations Staff on Wednesday, will not take effect immediately, as the Deputy Mayor Stojanca Arsic said for the Bujanovac News portal yesterday, but possibly in two days, according to the official Facebook page of the municipality.

“The final decision on the implementation of the measures will be reached after the assessment of the Emergency Situations Staff, depending on the development of the situation, which will be monitored over the next two days, "it was said in the announcement.

The introduction of emergency measures was proposed by the Head of the Bujanovac Health Center, Dr. Lela Jovanović, after she had informed the Staff that "the situation in the municipality is alarming".

The proposal of Dr. Jovanović was unanimously adopted, while Mr. Arsić, who chaired the session of the Staff, then confirmed that the emergency measures would take effect immediately.

When the announcement was published on the FB page of the municipality, Mr. Arsić said that he had signed all the decisions the day before and that he had not been informed about the postponement of the implementation of emergency measures.
