MINISTRY OF DEFENSE ISSUES A CALL FOR 76 STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS (DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2020)

The Ministry of Defense has issued a call for the award of 76 student scholarships for the 2020/2021 school year. Students of secondary mechanical, electrical engineering and agricultural schools can apply to it.

The call is announced for students in the fourth, third or second year of secondary school, and it specifies the educational profiles of students that can apply.

Students of the mechanical engineering and aircraft engineering educational profile from the mechanical engineering school can apply.

Students of the following educational profiles from the electrical engineering school can apply: aeronautical technician for electronic equipment or electro-technician of electronics, aeronautical technician for electrical equipment or electronics technician, mechatronics specialist for missile systems or mechatronics technician, mechatronics specialist for radar systems or mechatronics technician and telecommunications electrician or PTT traffic technician.

Students from the agricultural school with the educational profile of food technician can apply.

The amount of the student scholarship in the 2020/2021 school year is 25,000 dinars per month for fourth grade secondary school students, 20,000 dinars for third grade students, and 15,000 dinars per month for second grade students.

Upon completion of schooling, and following the appropriate military training with weapons, students will be received for professional military service as non-commissioned officers in the following places of service - Belgrade, Ladjevci, Nis, Batajnica, Zuce, Pancevo, Novi Sad, Jakovo, Stari Banovci, Kacarevo Uzice and Sombor.

The call for applications is open until September 30, 2020.
