MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION ISSUED CALLS FOR THE MEDIA FOR 2020

The Ministry of Culture and Information issued nine calls for applications for the co-financing of public interest projects in the field of public information for 2020.

This is the first time since the introduction of project co-financing of media projects in 2015 that the Ministry of Culture and Information issued calls for applications in December, the implementation of which would take place the following year.

Among others, the following calls were issued:

Call for the co-financing of media production projects for television in 2020, for which 75 million dinars have been earmarked. 

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained under the project is 500,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is three million dinars. The participant in the call may apply for the co-financing of up to 50 percent of the project value. The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

Call for the co-financing of media production projects for radio in 2020, for which 30 million dinars have been earmarked.

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained per project is 400,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is one million dinars. The participant in the competition can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value.  

The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

Call for the co-financing of media production projects for the Internet media in 2020, for which 30 million dinars have been earmarked.

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained per project is 300,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is 1 million dinars. The participant in the call can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value.

The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

Call for the co-financing of media content production projects aimed at persons with disabilities in 2020, for which 13 million dinars have been earmarked.

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained per project is 400,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is one million dinars.

The participant in the call can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value. The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

The call for the co-financing of media production projects for the print media and news agencies’ services in 2020, for which 34 million dinars have been earmarked. The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained per project is 400,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is two million dinars.

The participant in the call can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value. The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

Call for the co-financing of media production projects aimed at members of the Serbian people living in the countries of the region in 2020, for which 21 million dinars have been allocated.

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained under the project is 400,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is 1.5 million dinars. The participant in the call can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value.

The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.

Call for the co-financing of media production projects in the languages of national minorities in 2020, for which 40 million dinars have been earmarked.

The minimum amount of funds that can be obtained per project is 400,000 dinars, while the largest amount per project is one million dinars.

The participant in the call can apply for the co-financing of up to 80 percent of the project value.

The call runs between December 10, 2019 and January 10, 2020, while the decision on the allocation of funds is to be reached no later than 90 days from the completion of the call.
