MINI BASKETBALL FESTIVAL IN BUJANOVAC - 18.04.2018

Bujanovac - On Saturday and Sunday, April 21 and 22, Bujanovac will be a city of youth and basketball, the city that will host some of the new boys and girls, the future basketball stars.

So, Bujanovac will, for the eighth time, host a Mini Basketball Festival "Save the Children," which is a festival of sports, socializing, friendship and fun.

“We are pleased that we will, on Saturday and Sunday, welcome and accommodate in Bujanovac14 basketball teams and around 500 boys and girls born after 2007, who are from Germany, Macedonia and Serbia, "said Nenad Stajic, the creator of the initiative and the coach of the youth basketball club "Play 017".

Saturday is reserved for the young pioneers, or for their demonstration training, which will be run by the Macedonian basketball expert Rade Georgievski, as well as for an exhibition basketball match played by basketball players from kindergartens.

On the same day, from 12 am to 3 pm, the crowd will watch the youngest basketball players from Bujanovac, Vranje, Vladicin Han and Skopje, who will, in that manner, start their basketball careers.

Sunday is dedicated to the enjoyment of basketball matches played by the teams that are already competing in various leagues.

The future basketball stars will, then, meet with representatives of the organizations that financially supported the festival, which include the Basketball Federation of Serbia, the US Embassy in the Republic of Serbia and local self-government leaders.

There will be no winning and defeated teams at the "Save the Children," mini basketball festival, while the organizer will award medals and cups to all the teams that participated in the sporting event.
