MEETING BETWEEN MR. STANKOVIC AND THE BRITISH AMBASSADOR KEEFE

Belgrade - Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body, met with the British Ambassador Denis Keefe. Discussed at the meeting was the operation of the Coordination Body, as well as the Coordination Body’s plans for the development of the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

„Great Britain wants, as up until now, to provide assistance with undertaking the activities that contribute to solving the existing problems in those municipalities. This is primarily related to providing assistance in further learning of the Serbian language for Albanians and in providing textbooks in the Albanian language, which is in accordance with the agreement signed by and between the Ministry of Education and the Albanian National Council, as well as to providing food aid, medicines and necessities related to migrants and the reception center in Presevo, " Mr. Stankovic said.

The President of the Coordination Body and the British Ambassador agreed that the mutual cooperation was very good and that they would continue improving it for the welfare of the inhabitants of the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
