"MEDVEDJA 2017" TOURNAMENT IN MINI FOOTBALL COMPLETED

Medvedja - The tournament in mini football, which began on August 18, ended in Medvedja. 10 teams competed in the senior category and 5 teams in the junior category.

At the end of the tournament, Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, awarded cups, diplomas, letters of thanks and cash prizes to the deserving participants in the tournament.

The winner of the tournament in the junior competition was the "New Rio" team, which was given a cash prize of 10,000 dinars, the second place and a cash prize of 7,000 dinars went to the "Hornets" team, while the third place and a cash prize of 3,000 dinars went to the "Lions" team.

The winner in the senior category was the team of "Valencia", which was awarded a cash prize of 70,000 dinars, the second place and a cash prize worth 40,000 dinars went to the “Mija-Medvedja” team, while the third place and a cash prize of 20,000 dinars went to the "Ivan Stojković "team.

Numerous audience of the tournament was of the view that quality football was played in Medvedja and that the football club "Jablanica", which competes in the league of the region of eastern Serbia, had a bright future because it had many young football talents.

The tournament in mini football "Medvedja 2017" was organized by the Tourist Organization of Medvedja and the Sports Association of Medvedja, while it was sponsored by the municipality of Medvedja.
