MAYOR ARSIC SAYS TO THE YOUNG: “LET’S TIDY MEDVEDJA UP TOGETHER”!

Medvedja – A cinema, an Internet cafe, a basketball court and the straightening out of the viewing platform are just some of the proposals that the young from Medvedja presented during a meeting with Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja.

At the beginning of the activity undertaken by the local self-government “Get Involved, You, Too, Have a Say in the Matter”, Mayor Arsic asked the young from the multinational municipality to have a meeting with him, during which he asked them to create their own future.

“I demanded from the young fellow citizens that we jointly change the system of values and restore the lost soul of Medvedja and its positive spirit. I said that young people were our strength and that they shouldn’t wait for changes to occur, but that they should be part of them, "Mayor Arsic said.

The young from the municipality asked for more events in the field of culture, maintenance of the existing and construction of new sports facilities, as well as for cleaning Medvedja of election posters, in which they themselves would participate.

They will suggest the way of tidying up the main square and will choose the colors for the facades of the residential buildings that will be renovated.

It was agreed that the meetings with the Mayor would be held at least once a month.

"My idea is to “bathe” Medvedja and straighten it out in accordance with the needs of the young”, Mayor Arsic said.
