Representatives of “Srpska banka” handed over savings deposits to scholars of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the value of which is over 800,000 dinars.  

The amount of over 5,000 dinars, which includes a six-month interest rate, was paid off to each of 151 Coordination Body’s scholars. This humanitarian activity was carried out by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, “Srpska banka” and local self-governments.

On that occasion, Ivan Maricic, the Head of the Executive Committee of “Srpska banka” said that children of both Serbian and Albanian ethnic background “deserved to be rewarded because of their good school results and conduct”. He also said that he expected that „they will turn to „Srpska banka“whenever they need assistance for their ideas, plans and future education“.
