DACIC: STABLE SITUATION IN SOUTH SERBIA

Ivica Dacic, Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Affairs, said that the situation in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja was stable following the announcement of the International Court of Justice’s opinion on Kosovo.  “Members of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and of the Army are capable of responding to all kinds of incidents, not only when the point at issue is violation of the sovereignty and integrity of the country, but also when such incidents have to do with threatening the lives and property of the local population”, said Mr. Dacic at the press-conference.
