On January 16, 2009, the "Center for Democracy and Development of South Serbia" NGO and the "Jugpress" regional information agency held the eight in a row meeting in Bujanovac. The topic discussed during the meeting was the current political situation in the municipality of Bujanovac and the problems created by the leaving of the Serbian members of the local parliament from the Bujanovac Municipal Assembly.

Persons that spoke at the meeting include Saip Kamberi, Mayor of Bujanovac, Jonuz Musliju, President of the Bujanovac Municipal Assembly, Goran Taskovic, Head of the Democratic Party's Municipal Board and Stojanca Arsic from the "Group of Citizens."

The conclusion reached at the meeting was that the crisis created in the Bujanovac parliament could only be resolved through an open and constructive dialogue. The meeting was held as part of the project entitled "Kosovo is on the Other Side", which is implemented by the "Center for Democracy and Development of South Serbia" and the regional information agency "Jugpress", while it is supported by the UK embassy in Belgrade.
