JABLANICA DISTRICT: 37 NEW PATIENTS, INCLUDING TWO CHILDREN

Leskovac, Medvedja - In the Jablanica district, 184 people were tested for the corona virus during the last 24 hours, among which 37 new cases of infection were confirmed, two of them were children.

The largest number of the newly infected was recorded in Leskovac, where another 29 people became ill with COVID-19.

Apart from Leskovac, new cases have been confirmed in Medvedja and Vlasotince, where four more people have been infected with the corona virus in each of the two places, South Serbia News reports.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 1,355 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the Jablanica district, while the largest number of cases of the infection has been confirmed in Leskovac - 1,075.

The state of emergency in Leskovac will be prolonged due to the worsening situation regarding the pandemic.

Another 198 results of people tested at the Institute of Public Health and the General Hospital in Leskovac are expected from the Institute for Biocides and Medical Ecology and the "Vatreno oko" laboratory.
