MILAN MARKOVIC, PRESIDENT OF THE COORDINATION BODY, SIGNS THE AGREEMENT ON ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MULTIETHNIC GOVERNMENT IN BUJANOVAC

Milan Markovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, along with representatives of the Serbian and Albanian political parties, is going to sign the Agreement on Establishment of the Multiethnic Government in Bujanovac at the Bujanovac Press Center at 11 am on Thursday, October 21, 2010. The signing of the Agreement will be followed by a press-conference.
 
The signatories of the Agreement include Riza Halimi, President of the Party for Democratic Action (PDA), Saip Kamberi, President of the Municipality of Bujanovac and Chairman of the PDA’s Municipal Board,  Jonuz Musliu, President of the Party for Democratic Progress, Mejdi Zeciri, President of the Albanian  Democratic Union, Sasa Pesic, Trustee of the  Democratic Party – the Coalition “For European Serbia – Boris Tadic” and Stojanca Arsic, a representative of the Group of Citizens “Stojanca Arsic and Miodrag Milkovic, MD”.
 
The Agreement on Establishment of the Multiethnic Government in Bujanovac is going to be signed after a longtime non-existence of multiethnic government. It will contribute to resolution of the vitally important issues of the Albanians, Serbs and Roma in the local self-government.
