INVITATION TO CONFERENCE ON INTER-GENERATIONAL SOLIDARITY “BRIDGE THE GAP”

Our society’s perceptions of youth and age are outdated. We, as youth, need to take a more active role in shaping today’s world. today. Why is it important?

It’s important because youth is a political issue. Longer life of the population presents a serious economic and social challenge, and it needs to be approached with a comprehensive understanding of everyone involved. Strategic thinking and the government’s concern for all categories of the population lead to a reduction in the problems that might arise.

That's why the National Youth Council of Serbia invites you to get involved in development of inter-generational relationships and to join us at a conference on inter-generational solidarity "Bridge the Gap", which will be held at the “Park” Hotel on November 12, 2015, and which will commence at 10.30 am. We will gather all the generations in one place for the first time and discuss the ways of bridging the generational gap.

The conference is organized in cooperation with the UNFPA and the UNDESA.
