INCENTIVES FOR IMPROVING THE SYSTEM OF PROVIDING AND TRANSFERRING KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL-TECHNOLOGICAL, APPLIED, DEVELOPMENTAL AND INNOVATIVE PROJECTS IN AGRICULTURE

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management issues a call for the allocation of incentives for improving the system of providing and transferring knowledge through the development of technical-technological, applied, developmental and innovative projects in agriculture and rural development in 2017 relating to support to the projects for improving the following themes:

1) Determining the amount of lost revenues and additional costs in the fruit and vegetable production in the period of conversion and in certified organic production;

2) Improving the competitiveness of domestic agricultural and food products on the market by analyzing consumer habits and by testing their quality and safety;

3) Improving the transfer of knowledge for the purpose of obtaining safe and competitive agricultural products;

4) Improving the technology of growing, competitiveness and the economy of producing berry-varieties of fruit by applying good agricultural practices;

5) Environmentally friendly vegetable production in greenhouses;

6) Regional analysis and improvement of the economy of farm pig production.

The applicant may submit one or more applications to the call.

Eligible to apply are the institutions registered in the Register of Scientific Organizations. One project can be implemented by several institutions, whereas one institution is a leading one and is in the role of being responsible for the project implementation and the signatory of the contract and contractual obligations.

Apart from its staff, the institution may engage the appropriate experts outside of the institution, as well as other specialized legal entities, as partner organizations. The deadline for submitting application is 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the call on the official website of the Administration for Agricultural Payments www.uap.gov.rs.
