IN MEDVEDJA, A THIRD OF THE TESTED POSITIVE FOR THE CORONA VIRUS, THE EMERGENCY STAFF ANNOUNCE MORE RIGOROUS CONTROL

Medvedja - The Staff for Emergency Situations of the Municipality of Medvedja announced that out of 21 tested persons, 6 of them were positive for the corona virus, which is one third of the total number of the tested.

As it was underscored, that had not happened since the declaration of the epidemic, which means that the imposed measures are not complied with, nor the isolation and self-isolation measures.

The Emergency Situations Staff made a decision and ordered the Municipal Administration of Medvedja – the Department for Inspection Affairs to rigorously control the implementation of the measure of obligatory wearing of protective masks indoors and outdoors, the working hours of catering facilities in the Municipality of Medvedja and to take all legal measures to initiate misdemeanors proceedings against those who do not observe the imposed measures.

The Emergency Situations Staff of the Municipality of Medvedja addressed the Crisis Staff for the Suppression of the COVID-19 infectious disease of the Government of the Republic of Serbia with a request to enable the testing of COVID-19 patients in the Health Center in Medvedja and to notify the Ministry of Interior of COVID-19 patients  who are undergoing home medical treatment, so that it could control compliance with the measure of self-isolation.

It was published on the website of the Municipality of Medvedja that there were 38 infected persons in the municipality since the beginning of the epidemic.
