IDEA OF STUDENTS FROM SOUTH SERBIA – SOCIAL NETWORKS MANAGED BY VOICE COMMANDS

Leskovac - The idea of ​​creating the software that allows the "Facebook" and other social networks to be managed by voice commands won at the “Business Challenge” regional competition of secondary school students in entrepreneurial skills, which was held in Leskovac.  

At the competition of 120 students from 21 secondary schools from the southeastern Serbia, a team consisting of students of the secondary technical school in Medvedja, the “Sezai Suroi” secondary school in Bujanovac, the “Rade Metalac” secondary technical school in Leskovac and secondary school in Svrljig won.

“Our software would be used mostly by the blind and visually impaired persons who would thus be able to get engaged in global networking offered by social networks, "said Milos, Cendresa, Petar and Dimitrije, the winners of the competition.

The rules of the competition organized by the “Junior Achievement Serbia” organization are such that the teams consist of students from different schools, while the ideas and business plans are devised in response to the given problem.

“The aim of the competition is to provide students with a one-day experience, during which they will have the opportunity to use their potential, learn how to work in a team with unfamiliar people and develop their presentation skills,"said Darko Radicanin, the Executive Director of the "Junior Achievement Serbia” organization.
