"HANDBOOK FOR EMPLOYEES - RECONCILING WORK AND FAMILY LIFE" PUBLISHED

The "Ana and Vlade Divac" Foundation has published a "Handbook for Employees - Reconciling Work and Family Life". The handbook is intended for the employees who want to get acquainted with their rights and legal provisions that help them reconcile their family and work obligations.

The handbook was developed as part of the project "Being Equal - Towards the Establishment of Gender Equality by Reconciling Work and Family Life of Employees", which is being implemented by the Office of the Minister without Portfolio that is in charge of Demography and Population Policy, in partnership with the “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation. The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Commission from the European Union’s program "Rights, Equality and Citizenship (2014-2020)".

The author of the handbook is Bojan Urdarevic, PhD, a professor of labor law at the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac and a conciliator at the Republican Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labor Disputes.

The "Handbook for Employers - Reconciling Work and Family Life" is also being prepared, which will be intended for training employers in the field of labor law and informing them about the benefits provided to them by the law when employing women and members of vulnerable groups.
