GRANTS FOR INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVES BETWEEN CSOS AND LSUS

After the holidays, the project "Together for an Active Civil Society - ACT" will launch a call for the award of innovative grants for the development of partnerships at the local level. The call will be issued on January 11, 2021.  

The aim of the call is to promote and strengthen partnerships between civil society organizations (CSOs) and local self-governmental units (LSUs) through the launch and implementation of joint initiatives, which will provide innovative solutions and tools for greater citizen participation in decision-making processes, improved public service delivery and better monitoring of the work of local authorities. In addition, the call aims to improve cooperation between citizens and decision-makers, as well as to promote the role of new technologies and digital tools in the process of creating public policies, which are more citizen-oriented and follow their needs and requirements.

The partnership should consist of one or more civil society organizations and one local self-governmental unit (city or municipality), while the partners should operate within the following geographical areas: Sumadija, Western Serbia, Southern Serbia and Southeastern Serbia.

Through this call, up to 30 best project proposals for innovative partnership initiatives between CSOs and LSUs will be supported, within four lots:

LOT 1: Innovative solutions and tools for citizen participation in decision-making processes,

LOT 2: Innovative solutions and tools for providing services to the citizens,

LOT 3: Innovative solutions and tools for monitoring the work of local self-governmental bodies,

LOT 4: Democratic response to the consequences of the corona virus pandemic.

The maximum amount of an individual grant is up to RSD 1,400,000.00 for a period of 18 months.
