GOVERNMENT ALLOCATED 16.06 BILLION DINARS FOR SUPPORT TO ENTREPRENEURS

Belgrade - Zeljko Sertic, the Minister of Economy, said that the Serbian government believed that the country's economy must be developed by focusing on entrepreneurs, and that is why it had allocated 16.06 billion dinars for providing support to entrepreneurship.

He said that 11.38 billion dinars would be earmarked for loans and guarantees.

The year of Entrepreneurship will be based on three main pillars - improving the business environment, direct support to entrepreneurs and the development of entrepreneurial spirit.

Minister Sertic said that 99 percent of all enterprises in the EU belong to the small and medium enterprises, which generate 85 percent of all jobs.
