GEYSER EVENINGS TO BE HELD FROM JULY 20 TO AUGUST 2

Medvedja, Sijarinska Spa – The 19^th Geyser Evenings are going to be held in Sijarinska Spa from July 20 to August 2, 2016. The organizers made sure that they prepared a rich cultural and artistic program for all visitors of the 14 days’ long event.

The Geyser Evenings event will be opened by Snezana Savic, a song entertainer and an actress. During the themed evenings, poetry readings, fiddle playing and the singing of traditional folk songs, urban traditional folk music and ballads will be organized. Also, during the event, the tourist organizations of Lebane, Leskovac, Bojnik, Vlasotince and Medvedja will have the evenings dedicated to them. Rock music fans will be able to enjoy in a concert of the famous “Kerber” rock band, while Milomir Miljanic will sing for those who love folk music. As part of the Geyser Evenings, the competition for the first voice of Geyser, as well as the selection of Miss Geyser, will be traditionally organized. On the final day of the event, a monograph entitled “Sijarinska Spa – A Source of Health and Life”, done by Prof. Vukadin Ristic, PhD, will be promoted. The couples who wish to get married under the geyser will be able to do so on August 2.

The Organizers of the Geyser Evenings are the tourist organization of the municipality of Medvedja, in cooperation with the “Geyser” specialized hospital for rehabilitation from Sijarinska Spa, under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the municipality of Medvedja.
