FREE REHABILITATION OF PENSIONERS IN ONE OF 24 SPAS THIS YEAR, TOO

Belgrade - Free rehabilitation will be provided to pensioners in one of the 24 spas in Serbia, while the call for applications is expected to be issued by the end of April, it was confirmed on Thursday, following the adoption of the decision on the allocation of funds for the rehabilitation of pensioners in 2018.

Under the Financial Plan of the Republican Pension and Disability Insurance Fund for the social standard of pensioners, of whom, according to the latest data, there are around 1.7 million in Serbia, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund provided the funds amounting to 420.2 million dinars for 2018. This is around 30 million dinars higher an amount compared to 2017 or about 60 million dinars more than in 2016.

Thus, the funds for a free rehabilitation of pensioners, which make up 93.3 percent of the total sum, amount to 392.9 million dinars. The remaining funds are intended for the payment of solidarity financial assistance to the most vulnerable pensioners.
