FIRST SESSION OF THE TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION HELD IN MEDVEDJA

11. October 2017.

Medvedja – The Traffic Safety Commission was constituted and the first session of the said commission was held in Medvedja.

Nebojsa Arsic, the Head of the Traffic Safety Commission, opened the session and constituted the commission with the votes of the present members.  He, thereupon, informed members of the commission about the security situation in Medvedja and with the demand of the Medvedja Police Station for one field vehicle for the needs of the traffic police.

“The municipality of Medvedja generates revenues from the fines for traffic offenses that are provided for under the regulations on traffic safety, and we need to earmark from these funds the financial resources for purchasing a motor field vehicle for the needs of our traffic police, which would improve the functioning of traffic police in the municipality of Medvedja. Also, we need to redo all traffic signs, but we must first launch the public procurement procedure, so that we could from the amount of collected traffic fines hire a professional company that would do the   project and implement it in the field, "Mayor Arsic said.

The joint position of all members of the commission was to file to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade the request for approving the purchase of a motor vehicle for the traffic police in Medvedja.
