FIRST CALL FOR IPARD ISSUED- PURCHASE OF NEW MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT

A public call for IPARD incentives for investments in physical assets of farms – the purchase of new machinery and equipment – was issued, while the deadline for the submission of applications for granting the incentives is from December 25, 2017 until February 26, 2018.

A public call for the purchase of new tractors will be announced on January 4, 2018, while the deadline for the submission of applications will be from that day until February 26, 2018.

The amount of incentives ranges from 60 to 80 percent, depending on whether the applicant is a young farmer, whether the farm is located in a mountainous area, and whether the investment relates to the management of waste and waste water.

Covered by the call are the sectors of milk, meat, fruit and vegetables and other crops (certain types of grain and industrial crops).

The amounts of incentives that can be obtained in the fruit, vegetables and other crops sectors may be from 5,000 to 700,000 euros, while they can be from 5,000 to 1,000,000 euros in the milk and meat sectors.

Acceptable investments and costs relate to the purchase of new machinery, the equipment and tractors and general expenses (project preparation and technical documentation costs).
