EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY DEBTS

Vranje - According to the Company for Distribution of Electricity “Jugoistok” from Nis, the deadline for payment of electricity debts was extended from 15 to 30 days, which is in line with the new Consumer Protection Act.  

In addition, Serbia’s “Electric Power Supply” company reduced the limit for submitting alerts to suspend the delivery of electricity from 10. 000 to 5. 000 dinars.

All consumers that owe over 5.000 dinars for electricity bills as of the July bill can expect to receive a warning notice before being disconnected.

“Please be reminded that the payment deadline has been extended to the 25th.  day of the month , so that that all those who pay their debts by that date are entitled to a five per cent discount , which will be shown in their next bill”, it was said in a statement made by “Jugoistok” Nis.
