EXHIBITORS FROM SOUTH SERBIA AT THE FAIR IN PRISTINA

Bujanovac – The traditional fair of agriculture and food industry will be officially opened in Pristina on Wednesday. Among 38 exhibitors from Serbia, a dozen or so companies from Pcinj and Jablanica districts, mostly those from Bujanovac and Presevo, will also exhibit their products at the fair. 

The organizer of the fair is the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo and Metehoja, while nearly 400 exhibitors from Kosovo and Metohija and the region (Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece and Turkey) will display their products in the area that is 6,000 square meters large.

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce pointed out that the aim of the exhibition was "to facilitate trade between Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija, to support large investors and to make the first steps in the establishment of joint ventures."

It was also said that large retail chains and distributors from Serbia plan to establish new contacts at the fair that will speed up the flow of goods and services to the markets of Kosovo and Metohija and Albania.

In order to facilitate the participation of Serbian companies in the fair, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce decided to bear the costs of organization, lease the fair premises and of equipping the stands. 

The opening of the fair is at 11 am on Wednesday.
