EXHIBITION ON VIENNA AND THE VIENNA CONGRESS HELD AT THE CULTURAL CENTER OF MEDVEDJA

Medvedja -  In cooperation with the Austrian Cultural Forum, an exhibition "Vienna 1814/15 - the City and the Congress" was held at the Cultural Center of the municipality of Medvedja.

Nebojsa Jaksic, the Director of the Cultural Center of Medvedja, thanked the attendees of the exhibition for their interest in it and said a few words about the future cooperation of the municipality of Medvedja with the Austrian Cultural Forum, which had made it possible for the exhibition to take place in Medvedja.  

The exhibition was officially opened by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja.  

"Vienna is one of the oldest metropolises in the heart of Europe, the imperial city and the meeting place of various cultures and influences, a city that played a leading role in creating the political scene of Europe and of this part of the world for centuries. Vienna is valued as the world's capital of music, especially in the field of classical music, in which Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss have left their crucial marks.  Art and culture have a long tradition in Vienna, so that all of us are always pleased to go back to it,” Mayor Arsic said. 

Nemanja Jovic, a history teacher at the „Nikola Tesla“ secondary technical  school, held a lecture on the Vienna Congress.  

Visitors will be able to see the exhibition over the next ten or so days.
