EU PRO PROGRAM’S PAINTING COMPETITION FOR 2019 "SERBIA IN THE EU – BY WHICH WILL WE ENRICH THE EUROPEAN UNION?"

Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja – The EU PRO development program, which is supported by the European Union, opened the prize painting competition for grammar and secondary school students in 99 cities and municipalities on the topic "Serbia in the EU – By Which Will We Enrich the European Union?" to encourage young people to recognize and to show in a creative way how Serbia will contribute to the European Union from the social, cultural and economic aspects.

By organizing the competition, the EU PRO continues the twelve-year long tradition that the programs that preceded it, the PRO, the EU PROGRESS and European PROGRESS, had established in the southern and southwestern Serbia, thus providing support for creative work of young people.

This year's theme puts before secondary school students a task of thinking about the active role of Serbia in the European integration process and, given our rich history, tradition, cultural heritage and contemporary society that lives by and promotes key European values, show the qualities by which Serbia will enrich the European Union.

The best works, according to the estimates of the jury, will appear on the pages of the EU PRO Calendar for 2019, while their authors will be awarded with laptop and tablet computers and mobile phones.

The competition is open until November 15, 2018, while the announcement of the winners, awards--giving and the promotion of the calendar will be organized in December.
