EMBASSY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN BELGRADE: CALL FOR SUBMITTING PROJECT PROPOSALS (DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15, 2017)
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgrade informs NGOs registered in Serbia that may, by 15 October 15, 2017, submit project proposals as part of the program of transformation cooperation, which is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The project should reflect the thematic priorities of the program, namely:
- Support to civil society, including human rights defenders;
- The promotion of freedom of expression and access to information, including freedom of the media;
- The promotion of equal and full political and public participation;
- Support to institution-building in the rule of law field;
- The promotion of equality and non-discrimination;
- The promotion of human rights in the field of employment and in the context of environmental protection.
The Embassy recommends that you should submit only the projects whose contents do not coincide with the projects funded by the European Union and other donors.
The envisaged scope of the project ranges from 8,000 to 12,000 euros. The envisaged project implementation period is from February 1, 2018 to October 21, 2018. The project must be self-sufficient, or it must not be the addition of a larger project.
We kindly ask interested parties to fill in the form (XLS, 50 KB) , which is available on http://www.mzv.cz/belgrade/sr/spoljna_razvojna_i_transformaciona/poziv_za_podnosenje_predloga_projekata.html, in English and e-mail it to belgrade@embassy.mzv , reference: "TRANSITION PROJECT", including the name of the organization. For the purpose of completing the form, use the exchange rate of the Czech crown: 1 RSD = 0.2217 CZK.
The Embassy will recommend an appropriate project to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Based on the assessment of the expert committee, the Ministry will decide on its possible implementation. The Embassy will inform about the outcome of the contest only the applicants whose project proposals are recommended for implementation.
