ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SIJARINSKA SPA GETS A COMPUTER LAB THROUGH A PRIZE COMPETITION

8. June 2018.

Medvedja - Over 100 thousand citizens’ votes contributed to the selection of 20 schools throughout Serbia that were awarded valuable computer equipment, while among the schools that had received new computer labs was a primary school in Sijarinska Spa.

Among 40 elementary schools that the Ministry of Education proposed for the project "Acquiring Skills and Knowledge", the citizens selected by voting on the official Facebook Page mts Your World 20 schools, to which the “Telekom Srbija” company would donate new computer equipment and equip their IT labs.

The proposed schools were divided into four geographical regions, so that the awards would be distributed evenly.

In addition to equipping computer labs, which is aimed at raising children’s digital literacy and providing modern requirements for their growth and development, the company invests in all drivers of new and better social changes through the "mts app contest" and "mts startup acceleration" projects because it strongly believes that a stable support can make it easier for students to acquire new skills and knowledge and that it is crucial for their future development.

The project "Acquiring Skills and Knowledge" was launched last year on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of "Telekom Serbia" and its quality and success is best confirmed by the Saint Sava’s award, which the company received for its outstanding contribution to the continuous investment in education.
