EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP AS PART OF THE "COMPETITION DAYS OF YOUNG INNOVATORS AND ENTREPRENEURS"

Presevo, Medvedja – With the participation of over 150 students of elementary and secondary schools from the territory of the Pcinj District, as well as the Presevo and Medvedja municipalities, an educational workshop was held in the hall of the Youth Cultural Center in Vranje, where the "Competition Days of Young Innovators and Entrepreneurs" started.

Split up into teams, participants will work with their mentors on creating a business plan, which will be presented at the competition in two days.

Zorica Jovic, a member of the City Council for Culture and Education, says the workshop is aimed at teaching and giving instructions to students of the eighth grade of elementary schools and to first grade students of secondary schools.

“The goal of the local self-government is to influence the development of students’ awareness, creativity and ideas for the future, while they socialize with their peers, " Ms. Jović said.

The competition is organized by the Association of Inventors of Serbia with the support of the city, while Vranje is, according to the president of the Association, Slobodan Bate Simić, the twenty-fourth city that took part in the program and thus showed complete social awareness for young generations.

"This is an institutional area in which we provide the opportunity for children to show how they see themselves in the future, as well as what they want," Mr. Simic said.

The competition in the preparation of the business plan will be held on Thursday, March 21, at 12 am, in the hall of the Army House.
