DEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR PRESEVO AND BUJANOVAC ORGANIZED TRAINING COURSES IN PROFESSIONAL IMPROVEMENT FOR SECONDARY-SCHOOL STUDENTS

Thanks to the financial assistance of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Development Agency for Presevo and Bujanovac implements the project “Change Yourself, Go for a Job”. Two one-day training courses (on March 26 and 27, 2010) were held, which were intended for students of secondary schools “Sezai Suroi” and “Sveti Sava” from Bujanovac, as well as of “Skenderbeg” from Presevo. The goal of these workshops was to train the students in how to successfully apply for a job.

They learned how to compose a CV and a cover letter, as well as how to prepare themselves for an interview for a job.

The training course beneficiaries said that they were very interested in topics related to job-finding and they expressed satisfaction with having had an opportunity to get the information that is useful for their professional improvement.

Eighty secondary-school students of various ethnic backgrounds, out of whom 60 are from Bujanovac and twenty from Presevo, successfully completed the said training course.
