COUNTERS FOR BUSINESSMEN TO BE OPENED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF PRESEVO AND BUJANOVAC

25. November 2019.

The Entrepreneurship Office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) opened a "Businessmen's Counter" in Kula, the first outside the Belgrade municipalities, to support the development of entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized enterprises and their business linking. That is a place where all entrepreneurs from the territory of the municipality of Kula will have the opportunity to get some advice, guidance and support.

The next municipalities where counters for businessmen will be opened are Presevo and Bujanovac.

“The entrepreneur counter functions as a one stop shop. It is a non-financial support to the existing entrepreneurs and those who intend to start their own businesses. It is through our cooperation with local self-governments in Serbia that we want to effectively inform entrepreneurs about all active programs and activities and contribute to the balanced regional development of the Serbian economy, "Branislava Simanic, the Head of the SCC’s Entrepreneurship Office, said.

“Such counters are extremely important for entrepreneurs at the local level, while the support of local self-governments is of great importance for the development of the economy in the municipalities and the region. We call on entrepreneurs to use the counter services as much as possible, "Ms. Simanic said.

The operation of counters makes it possible for entrepreneurs in the municipalities to which they belong to obtain the information necessary for their businesses in a quick and easy way, thus saving their time on going to the appropriate institutions. Also, entrepreneurs can get at the counter the information on subsidies, current calls for applications, programs, credit lines, tax regulations and procedures, market analysis, preparation of business plans and any other business improvement opportunities.
