COMPETITION OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Leskovac – 100 students from 21 secondary schools of South East Serbia are participating today in Leskovac in the regional competition of secondary school students in entrepreneurial skills “Business Challenge”.  

The competitors include students from Aleksinac, Knjazevac, Kursumlija, Leskovac, Medvedja, Nis, Pirot, Vlasotnice, Vucje and Zajecar, who will be given the “challenge” or task, which is a real business problem.

With the assistance of business volunteers, teams of students from different schools should design a solution and prepare a business plan and presentation, which will be presented to the members of the jury and the audience.

Members of the top three teams will ensure a place in the National finals, while a winning team, along with their peers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, will participate in the “Business Challenge of the Western Balkans” event, which will be held in Podgorica in April 2015.  

“Business Challenge” was launched with the aim of encouraging secondary school students to use their skills in an innovative way in order to enhance their entrepreneurial spirit and increase their employment opportunities.
