COMPETITION FOR THE "EUROPEAN DEBATE SCHOOL"

6. November 2015.

The EU Information Centre, in cooperation with the “Open Communication” organization, announces a competition for the second generation of beneficiaries of the "European Debate School”.

Entitled to apply are only secondary school students that regularly attend classes.

From late November to early February, the beneficiaries will, once a week, attend workshops on the skills of debating, argumentation and public speaking, as well as those on the Functioning of the European Union, the European institutions and the EU integration process. The workshops will be held on the premises of the EU Info Centre.

The speakers include members of the “Europe Team”, a network of national experts who specialize in the issues relating to the European Union and who professionally deal with these issues on a daily basis, as well as debating skill coaches.

Upon completion of the workshops, the beneficiaries will take part in public debates organized by the EU Info Centre throughout Serbia.

We encourage students from different towns in Serbia to apply for the participation in the European Debate School.  Travel expenses for students from the interior of the country will be paid.

The competition is open until November 13, 2915.

The application form may be downloaded on https://goo.gl/pfoYLE.

All data entered into the application forms will be used solely and exclusively for the purpose of the competition and won’t be shared with third parties.

When it comes to underage beneficiaries of the program selected to participate in the European Debate School, a written confirmation of the parents approving their participation in the program is necessary.
